GSM Job Description:
The Roll Machine Operator is responsible for safely, productively, and skillfully creating beautiful metal fabricated parts to print specifications. These parts are to meet or exceed established quality and productivity standards.
This job description is intended to be an overview of primary responsibilities for this position. All employees are responsible for providing assistance in generally similar duties, when management deems it necessary. Special projects and activities may also be created where employees’ talents can best be applied. General Stamping & Metalworks is a growing organization and responding to an every changing market. It is expected that tasks and requirements will change from time to time and employees will be asked to respond as needed and within reason.
Organizational Relationships and Authority
The Roll Operator reports directly to the Bending Supervisor.
There are no direct reports to this position. However, machine performance is the responsibility of the operator and any conditions that lower the expected output of the machine must be communicated to the shift supervisor.
Key Responsibilities and Purpose
The primary responsibility of the Roll Operator is to produce metal fabricated parts to customer print specifications using a standard process.

Qualifications and Competencies
To perform this job successfully, an individual must display the ability to read a blueprint and calculate positive and negative adjustments to produce parts to print specifications. They must possess basic computer skills including:
